Jonathan Haidt from NYU. Lecture on April 6 at 7:30 p.m. Elizabethtown College. Author of "The Righteous Mind: Why Good People are Divided by Politics and Religion" and "The Happiness Hypothesis." We were invited to dinner at the president's home to meet him.
I have been reading Jonathan Haidt's books and research for years. He began by studying "disgust" for 20 years, then flipped the topic to "uplifting human behavior." This was a thrill for me to meet and talk with him. His work directly relates to the strengths-based work I do with nurses and social profit groups.
