Dave the lumberjack

A large dead oak tree in our back yard was taken down in July.  Dave split the wood and arranged a third woodpile.  It will age for a year while we use the first two piles.  A harbinger of things to come - fires in the fireplace and snow!  Hard to believe when it's 80 and sunny.

Nancy Odegard and Kelsey Youngman were with us.  Don and Linda Thiergard came Sunday afternoon for an overnight.  We hosted 23 for BBQ on Saturday, quite festive, with guests showing their artistic treasures.

Ozan organized a circuit in the excercise room - IRON GRANDS.  7 stations of training for Ozan and Susan.

A former shoe factory, hotel in Lynchburg VA was our overnight stop.  DOG Friendly hotel, yeah!  Walking trail by the river and railroad track.  Breakfast box delivered.  Pizza restaurant in hotel.
