Art Show 2008

On Saturday evening 30 friends joined us for BBQ to celebrate Art Show weekend. Madelaine Gray, photographer, invited Margaret Lutzke, quilter, and Robert Stadnycki, jacket artist. Margaret brought a salad of home grown vegetables. Robert brought a huge sense of humor and personality. He knew Barb Fishman and Pat Hottenstein from way back.

Dinner was good, but dessert was chocolate! and lime, and s'more.

Lincoln family visit

Our friends Elizabeth Lincoln and Jim Frey came to visit for 2 days last week, with their 3 boys - Kohji, Masaki and Makoto. Elizabeth is undergoing chemotherapy, and this was a weekend break for the family. The boys climbed up Governor Dick tower, swam in the pool, got a ride in Dave's new car, and visited the Jigger Shop! They enjoyed seeing the bat who lives in our table umbrella (and eats lots of bugs).
