Niagara-on-the-Lake

June 16-23, 20007, the Woods, Hottensteins, Royers and Leonards spent a week in Canada, tasting wine, biking, sailing, eating fine food, and relaxing. Same group came 3 years ago.

Having had a beautiful lunch at Peller winery, Joan and Pat made a rhubarb-blueberry tart for dinner Saturday night!

Kelsey's graduation from Windward

On Wednesday, June 13 our niece Kelsey graduated from Windward School in LA. Dave and I were there, expecting the usual procession. The suspense grew as honors were announced...She knew she was among the top in her class...and had done her best.

The English Award: Kelsey Youngman... (having received history, science, math, French and others in prior years)

Co-valedictorian: Kelsey Youngman! a tie with Jonathan Oei
AND, the Upper Class Award for scholarship and citizenship! "...the kindest person you'll ever know"
