Road trip to Florida

Our first stop was at Lynne and Steve Frazier's in Pinehurst NC where they introduced us to Wii Fit. Bowling, tennis, ski jump, yoga, golf, running. Here we have Steve and Dave shooting at skeets. Over cocktails we raced cars - crashing and going backwards on the track! Lynne and I played 5 holes of real golf in the afternoon drizzle.

Steve and Dave visited Don Strait, Ace fighter pilot from WWII. The next day we stopped at the 88th Air Force Museum in Savannah, and saw Don acknowledged several times.

We stayed overnight in Savannah, before going on to Florida.

After a lunch visit with Dusty and George Davies in Gainesville, off to Zephyrhills, FL to see the Wood and Craven families. Marilyn and Stuart hosted a family dinner with long lost cousin Paul Tucker and his wife Lani and Bill and Lorraine Craven. Dave and Paul had not seen each other for 40 years.

Bill Craven has a wonderful model train.

Stuart and Marilyn took us to the airfield where they skydive. Zephyrhills is a hub of skydiving.

On to Naples for a birthday celebration of Bob Odegard's 88th and Susan's 60th at Tarpon Bay.

Bob and Susan go for a spin in his wheels. He takes it to Audubon for lunch and putting.
Nancy passes out hats for mini golf tournament on Tuesday. "Team Bob" and "Team Susan"
Lunch after mini golf.
Bob got a new coffeemaker for Christmas.
We had a lovely Christmas Eve at Audubon, including Faith Pearson, with whom we stayed.
The Youngmans: Kelsey Nancy John and Kate
Brunch at Arbor Trace dining room - Susan's brother Kevin and Susan Casey.

A stop in Durham en route home to visit the Cohen family. Mitch is starting to know who we are  He even let us read to him!
