We own it! April 12 - 16, 2010

We got settled at 69 Lake Cove Road in Flat Rock, NC - learning how to use new appliances (all energy and water efficient), stocking the basics, and enjoying beautiful spring weather. The lake is drained low to clean the silt filters and will be back next week. Harry Deaton, our decorator/organizer, is on the case. It was fun to arrive and find kitchen equipment in place, some of which is new to us (Cuisinart blender/chopper combo). Her husband Joe is making curtains.

That tiny person seated in front of the house is Dave, who watched, while I walked around a finger of the lake.

There are three new houses here, ours is the yellow on the right. The blue one is almost finished. The green one between is done and awaiting a buyer.

The teal blue doors accent the yellow nicely.

Dave likes the porch, although the pollen season is active and we clean yellow dust daily.

Guest quarters in place where we are staying until MBR furniture arrives.
