SPRING HAS SPRUNG IN FLAT ROCK

68 degrees! After slogging through snow and ice for weeks, we are delighted.  Dave took off on his motorcycle to Saluda and beyond.  I went to Flat Rock Park with Shawnee where we made some friends.

Romo the "collie" mix.  Same coloring as Shawnee but short hair.  White feet (sheepdogs).  Romo must have border collie in him, along with whippet or something wiry.  We walked together for one of our two trips around. (1.3 miles each round) 

Then we picked up a large gold bulldog, having met a great dane puppy along the way.   

6.8 miles today.  Shawnee laid down twice in the park!  That's the first time he's asked for a rest.  ever.
