In a risky move, I traveled to Minnesota in February. It all worked thanks to my hosts at the University and tolerable cold, snowy weather. Met Dean Jean Quam at the College of Education and Human Development. Met people in the Institute for Child Development, Upward Bound, Tucker Center for Girls and Women in Sport, First Generation, Literacy and Reading and Educational Equity. A productive two days with Susan Holter in development. I'm impressed with what the College is doing and will become involved with the Dean's Advisory Board.
