Ferns, moss and grasses... sunflowers and cana lilies

Our yard and garden was enhanced this year by Ryan Fretz, an artist and gardener with an imagination.

For the Tour of Homes and Gardens, Ryan exhibited his wares - pottery and plants

Ryan planted a new dogwood and layers of ferns outside Susan's office to soften the corner of the house.  It will flourish!

One day Shawnee and I found this toad housed in the stump.  cute!

Hosta removed from this split leaf maple allowed for moss and cora bells, ginger

Shawnee found this not so little garter snake and started a fight with it.  I leashed him and saved its life.

In March, Ryan burned and carved the stump planter
