"If a person goes to a country and finds their newspapers filled with nothing but good news, there are good men in jail." - Daniel Patrick Moynihan
Today's front pages from newspapers all over the world were displayed.
Andrea and I walked 1 hour to the Lincoln Memorial for the sunrise Easter service at 7 a.m. Inspiring turnout of people singing as the sun rose.
It was warm and beautiful. We walked miles through sculpture garden, WWII Memorial, all the monuments.
Dave at the Vietnam Memorial where he looked up a friend from years ago.
Of course the "Air and Space" Museum...
At the Natural History Museum Dave did dinosaurs and humanoids while the rest of us visited the butterfly exhibit. One butterfly attached itself to Jim for the entire visit and had to be encouraged to leave at the end.
We stayed at the George Hotel, just off the mall. Had lovely dinner at the hotel, and went to Oyamel, Cocina Mexicana, on 7th Street.
