Gretna Garden 2011

New trees at entrance - "Harry Lauder's Walking Stick" - curly branches lose leaves in winter.  They grow to 8'.  Dave and I transplanted them over the weekend, using our aging backs...

  

The pool garden has sweet potato vine, coleus, lantana, salvia, dahlia and "peek-a-boo."  The pool opens  May 20th!

 Basil, tarragon and oregano.  A second pot has dill, lemon verbena and rosemary.
