Dave's 65th birthday party

Josephine's Restaurant in Marietta was the scene. www.josephinesrestaurant.net
Here's Dave complete with codger items - a pocket watch (his own) and cane (Susan's great grandfather's - General Gibbs).

Nancy and John Youngman provided champagne and party favors - arranged by surprise with Daniel, the chef!

Sandy and Jeff Bricker, Leslie Bures toast with Dave above. Joan and Carl Royer, Pat and Dan Hottenstein below.

Ray Bures brought extending forks - to encourage tasting across the table! The food was scrumptious - tuna tartar, venison chop, short ribs, crabcakes...

Chef/Owner Daniel Le Boon offers the champagne cork he sliced with a sword!

Leslie made a Tiramasu cake! enhanced by Chef Daniels homemade ice cream.
The photographer and blogger was there! (thanks Beth for proof)
Joan delivers the gifts - 2 special bottles of bourbon and evil brownies by Leslie.

The birthday boy blows out candles. This must be the moment when he dipped his tie and vest into the frosting! Note the casted arm of Sandy Bricker in the foreground! (due to winter ice)

A delightful evening for all! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVE.
